Antonio Campos is an American film director, screenwriter, and film producer.
Antonio is the son of producer Rose Ganguzza and Brazilian journalist Lucas Mendes Campos.
Antonio’s father has Portuguese ancestry, and has also stated that one of his great-great-great-great-grandfathers was a Jewish ancestor from Portugal who moved to Brazil. Antonio’s mother was born in New Jersey, to Italian/Sicilian parents.
Antonio’s maternal grandparents were Anthony C. Ganguzza and Frances. Anthony was from Sicily, Italy. Frances was also Italian.
