Eric is the son of improv director Josephine Forsberg (born Josephine Raciti) and filmmaker Rolf Forsberg (born Albert-Rolf Forsberg). Eric’s father has Swedish ancestry and Eric’s mother had Italian/Sicilian roots.
Eric’s paternal grandfather was Albert Fritjov Forsberg (the son of Olaf/Olaff Forsberg and Anna Petri). Albert was born in Sweden.
Eric’s paternal grandmother was Signe Cederberg (the daughter of Alfred Cederberg and Anna Olson). Signe was also born in Sweden.
