Michael’s paternal grandmother was Dorothy Arrigo (the daughter of Ciro Carmine “Cyro/Cyrus” Arrigo and Bonaventura “Katherine/Katie” Bruno). Dorothy was born in New York, to Sicilian Italian parents, who were from Palermo and Petralia Soprana, respectively. Ciro was the son of Norani Arrigo and Rosa Maria Orabello. Bonaventura was the daughter of Francesco Bruno and Maria Pietra Alessi.
